Other than working on the technical aspects of performing on your instrument individually and as a group, you will learn how to read music proficiently, how to use computer software to notate and modify music, and how music has played a role in the international to the local community. AMI- Instrumental Band Courses - Grades 9-12
This course emphasizes the performance of music on woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments, for students with previous experience on these instruments, at a level that strikes a balance between challenge and skill and is aimed at developing technique, sensitivity, and imagination.
Also available: Grade 9 Beginner Band, for those students who are new on their instrument or wish to try out a new instrument
AMS - Strings - Grades 9-12
This course emphasizes the performance of music on orchestral stringed instruments for students with previous experience or RCM training, at a level that strikes a balance between challenge and skill and is aimed at developing technique, sensitivity and control.

AMR - Repertoire - Grades 9-12
This course emphasizes the performance of music in a large performing ensemble, at a level that strikes a balance between challenge and skill and is aimed at developing ensemble technique and listening skills.
